Product overview
1× SEQQX® dsDNA HS Assay Kit, catalog no. LM801001, selectively quantifies double-stranded DNA using a premixed fluorescent detection solution. Add the working solution directly to samples or standards without preparing a separate dye dilution. The kit includes two calibration standards and supports input DNA and DNA library quantification in next-generation sequencing workflows.
Ready-to-use reagent
The premixed 1× detection solution requires no further dilution or separate preparation buffer.
High-sensitivity dsDNA analysis
The handbook specifies a 0.2–100 ng dsDNA working range and results within 5 minutes.
Flexible readout
Use Qubit 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0 fluorometers, or a fluorescence plate reader with 480 nm excitation and 520 nm emission.

Pack sizes & ordering
| Catalog No. | Pack size | Test definition |
|---|---|---|
| LM801001 | 100 T | 100 single dsDNA fluorescence measurements |
| LM801001 | 500 T | 500 single dsDNA fluorescence measurements |
One test (T) is one fluorescence measurement using the ready-to-use working solution. Specify the required pack size when ordering. Component volumes and fixed sample/reagent volumes are not supplied. Source: LM801001_SEQQX_dsDNA_HS_Assay_Kit_12642_1.pdf, pp. 2–3.
Performance & validation
The handbook reports selective dsDNA fluorescence with low ssDNA/RNA interference and approximately ±10% deviation between three production batches and a comparator across four tested samples. These results describe the reported study conditions. Source: LM801001 handbook, pp. 4–5.
dsDNA selectivity
The reported 0–100 ng response was near-linear for dsDNA, while equivalent ssDNA or RNA inputs remained close to baseline.
Signal stability
In two tested library samples, fluorescence remained essentially stable from 30 seconds to 4.25 hours under ambient light. Continue to follow the handbook’s light-protection guidance.
Batch consistency
Three production batches were tested on four samples, with reported deviation from the comparator within approximately ±10%.

Product FAQs
Does the working solution need dilution?
No. It is supplied at 1× and ready to mix with the sample or standard.
Is 0.2–100 ng a concentration range?
No. It is the dsDNA amount per measurement. Use the instrument protocol for sample and reagent volumes.
Which instruments are compatible?
Qubit 2.0/3.0/4.0, or a fluorescence plate reader with Ex 480 nm and Em 520 nm. Use Qubit assay tubes or a black microplate, respectively.
How is the assay calibrated?
Use Standards #1 and #2 for Qubit. For a plate reader, serially dilute Standard #2 in 1× TE for additional calibration points.
How should the kit be stored?
Store at 2–8°C for up to 1 year from manufacture. Avoid prolonged strong light and repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Research use only.
