Product overview

ISOQX® LAMP Fluorescent Assay Kit (Bst Plus HSS) (LM701102). This kit is designed for DNA-template isothermal amplification with Bst Plus HSS DNA Polymerase and an optimized buffer. Aptamer-mediated hot start permits reaction setup at room temperature. The fluorescent dye is supplied separately and may be omitted for probe-based detection. The supplied protocol uses 63–65°C incubation with fluorescence acquisition through the SYBR channel.

Room-temperature setup

Aptamer-blocked hot-start Bst Plus HSS polymerase supports convenient reagent preparation.

Separate fluorescent dye

SYTO-9 is provided in its own vial and can be omitted when an assay-specific probe is used.

Isothermal fluorescence monitoring

Collect fluorescence during 63–65°C incubation using the indicated instrument settings.

Performance & validation

The kit supports hot-start fluorescent LAMP with DNA templates. The handbook describes room-temperature setup, separate dye or probe-based detection options, and amplification at 63–65°C. No numerical sensitivity, specificity or time-to-positive validation results are supplied. Source: LM701102 handbook, pp. 2–3.

Hot-start control

Aptamer-blocked polymerase is designed to improve specificity during isothermal assay setup.

Dye or probe detection

Use the supplied SYTO-9 dye, or omit it for an appropriately designed fluorescent-probe assay.

30–60 minute incubation

The reference protocol uses 30–60 one-minute acquisition intervals at 63–65°C, followed by inactivation.

Product FAQs

What dye is included?

SYTO-9, supplied separately as a 25× stock.

Can I use a fluorescent probe?

Yes. Omit the dye component and validate the probe-based assay.

Does the kit include reverse transcriptase?

No separate reverse transcriptase is listed. The supplied setup is DNA-based; confirm RT-LAMP requirements before using RNA.

What fluorescence channel should I select?

The handbook specifies SYBR Green Reagents mode and the SYBR channel.

Is the buffer dose internally consistent?

The handbook states 6 µL of 4× buffer in 25 µL as 1×, which calculates to 0.96×. Confirm the intended dose before use.

Is this product for diagnostic use?

No. For scientific research use only, not diagnostic or clinical procedures.
