Product overview

qNTQX® Robust Multiplex qPCR PreMix (UDG Plus), catalog no. LM602015, is a probe-based multiplex real-time PCR premix built around antibody-mediated hot-start Taq DNA polymerase. It is designed for broad primer/probe compatibility and tolerance to common PCR inhibitors, including nucleic-acid release reagents. Add assay-specific primers, probes, template and water. A reverse-transcription step is not included.

Robust multiplex chemistry

Designed for probe-based multiplex assays and tolerance to interfering substances such as nucleic-acid release reagents.

Flexible assay preparation

Supports primer/probe pre-mixing and standard or fast cycling. Validate the specific assay and instrument settings.

dUTP/UDG carryover control

Helps control uracil-containing carryover products. Good laboratory practices and negative controls remain necessary.

Performance & validation

The handbook reports inhibitor tolerance, primer/probe pre-mixing support and detection within ≤35 minutes using a fast programme. No quantitative inhibitor limits or comparative performance plots are supplied. Timing and performance require assay and instrument validation. Source: LM602015 handbook, pp. 2–3.

Fast programme

95°C for 90 s, then 42 cycles of 95°C for 5 s and 60°C for 15 s; handbook programme labelled Q5.

Inhibitor tolerance

Designed to tolerate interfering substances such as nucleic-acid release reagents.

Assay preparation

Primer/probe pre-mixing is supported; storage duration of prepared assay mixes is not specified.

Product FAQs

Can the premix amplify RNA directly?

No reverse transcriptase is listed. Use DNA/cDNA or a suitable reverse-transcription workflow.

Is UDG incubation required?

The standard protocol lists an optional 37°C, 5 min step. Follow the handbook and validate your assay.

Is ≤35 min guaranteed on every instrument?

No. The handbook describes a fast programme; confirm timing and performance on your instrument.

How should the product be stored?

Store at −25 to −15°C. Shelf life is 18 months from manufacture.

Is this product for diagnostic use?

No. It is for research use only.
