qNTQX® Universal Advanced Multiplex One-Step RT-qPCR Mix (UDG Plus), catalog no. LM602017, combines reverse transcription and multiplex quantitative PCR in one reaction tube. The enzyme mix contains a thermostable reverse transcriptase, hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, RNase inhibitor and UDGase. The kit supplies a 5× buffer and GC-Enhancer and supports standard or fast cycling for research RNA analysis.
Single-tube RNA workflow
Reverse transcription and qPCR take place in the same tube, reducing handling between steps.
Multiplex assay support
The buffer supports multiplex amplification. Optional GC-Enhancer is provided for difficult high-GC targets.
Swab and carryover considerations
The handbook describes direct oral-swab RT-qPCR support and a dUTP/UDG carryover-control system.

Performance & validation
The handbook describes multiplex RNA amplification, direct oral-swab RT-qPCR support and fast detection within ≤35 minutes. Fast programme
50°C for 2 min and 95°C for 30 s, then 40 cycles of 95°C for 5 s and 60°C for 15 s.
Optional GC-Enhancer
Intended mainly for >70% GC targets with substantial non-specific amplification; add only when needed.
Instrument-dependent timing
Confirm fast-cycling support and the minimum fluorescence-acquisition time on your instrument.

Is a separate reverse-transcription reaction required?
No. Reverse transcription and qPCR are performed in the same tube.
Must GC-Enhancer always be added?
No. Use 0–5 µL in the 25 µL example, mainly for difficult >70% GC targets. Add only when needed.
Can oral swabs be used directly?
The handbook supports this application, but sample preparation and assay performance require validation.
How should the kit be stored?
Store at −25 to −15°C. Shelf life is 12 months from manufacture.
