Product overview

The NUCQX® N-96 is a fully automated, high-throughput nucleic acid extraction system based on magnetic bead technology. It purifies DNA/RNA from 1–96 samples per run – or, in the 24-well large-volume configuration, from 1–24 samples with working volumes of up to 10 mL – and handles whole blood, viruses, tissues, plants, bacteria and cultured cells. Sealed magnetic rods with disposable sleeves move the beads between reagent wells and mix by rapid up-and-down motion, taking every sample through lysis, binding, washing and elution without manual pipetting between steps. Programmable heating with active cooling of adjacent stations, a HEPA air filter and built-in UV sterilisation deliver reliable, reproducible results for downstream gene analysis and molecular research.

Key Features

Fully Automated Workflow

Lysis, binding, washing, and elution via sealed magnetic rod transfer — no pipetting between steps means no cross-contamination or aerosols.

96 Samples per Run

Process 1–96 samples in a single run, or switch to the 24-well large-volume configuration for working volumes up to 10 mL.

Programmable Touch-Screen Control

Pre-installed protocols plus full custom editing: mixing modes, 10 mixing speeds, times, volumes and temperatures. Searchable, password-protectable programme list.

Precise Temperature Control

Heating up to 120 °C at preset stations, while adjacent stations are actively cooled to prevent temperature crossover.

Built-in UV + HEPA Sterilisation

Post-run UV decontamination with door-interlock safety, plus HEPA filtration to keep the chamber contamination-free between runs

Power-Failure Protection

After a power cut, the N-96 remembers the run status and resumes from where it stopped.
